Dear McMicken 5th-Grade Families,
I’m writing to inform you that we will need to reschedule Waskowitz Outdoor School, which was planned for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22 through Friday, October 25. Unfortunately, we did not have enough high school leaders sign up, and several who had signed up cancelled over the weekend. Without enough leaders, we are unable to safely run the program.
I know this is disappointing and that students look forward to this experience. Please know that we are committed to rescheduling this opportunity for the spring. We’ll provide the new dates as soon as they’re confirmed.
Our top priority is providing a safe, enriching Outdoor School experience where every student can fully and safely engage in hands-on learning and outdoor exploration.
