Following a strategic hiring process, KeyAunna Johnson has been selected to serve as the next principal at McMicken Heights Elementary School. Ms. Johnson has served as the assistant principal at Beverly Park Elementary since 2023.
Previously, she was an academic success coach at Highline Virtual Academy (HVA) and an administrative intern at HVA and Maritime High School. She also served as a teacher at Glacier Middle School and Midway Elementary.
Ms. Johnson holds a principal certification and master's degree educational administration from Western Governors University, a master's degree in education from Walden University, a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Heritage University, and an associate’s degree in early childhood education from Seattle Central Community College.
Now that the principal has been identified, we will work to identify the assistant principal.
